What are the ingredients in RESULTZ®?
The ingredients in RESULTZ® have both been used in the dermatology industry. The active ingredient is isopropyl myristate (50%) and the inactive ingredient is ST-cyclomethicone 5-NF (50%).
Is RESULTZ® an insecticide?
The ingredients found in RESULTZ® are non-insecticidal.
How does RESULTZ® work?
RESULTZ® has a unique mode of action. RESULTZ® works by dissolving the wax that covers the exoskeleton (outside skeleton) of the louse, which results in dehydration, and subsequent death.
How do I use RESULTZ®?
- Protect eyes (with towels)
- Apply RESULTZ® to dry hair and massage into the hair until the scalp, especially the sides and nape (back underneath the hair) of the neck, are thoroughly wet with the product.
- Apply from scalp and roots to the end of the hair shaft.
- Allow RESULTZ® to remain on scalp and hair for 10 minutes.
- Rinse with warm water and wash, if desired.
- Repeat treatment 7 days later (following the same directions)
Can RESULTZ® be used to treat other conditions?
RESULTZ® has been approved for the treatment of head lice infestations. Its use in other parasitic infections (i.e. scabies etc) is not recommended.
