Treating Lice

A hands-on approach is recommended for successful treatment of head lice, usually involving topical treatment applications and hair combing to remove adult, nymph and nit lice. Medical experts recommend the over-the-counter topical treatments preferentially over home remedies such as wet combing which are less effective in eradicating Pediculosis. Similarly, data supporting the use of oral medication is limited.
